Delicious Moist Apple Cake

Bericht afbeelding moist apple cake Ah yesss.. A few weeks ago I seemed to think the apocalypse was upon us and that in this event we would need lots of apples. Since everything is still normal (I haven’t seen any zombies around, have you?) the apples started going bad. Before it was too late I made this Delicious Moist Apple Cake*. It’s a good thing that for a moment I thought the world was ending.. Otherwise I wouldn’t have made this cake and I wouldn’t have been reminded of how delicious apples can be.


 Ingredients
  • 1 cup (225gr) all purpose flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1 generous tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) vegetable oil
  • 3 apples (fuji, gala)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (180 Celsius). Cut the apples into small pieces. Combine all of the ingredients in one bowl (the texture stays gritty, like a sort of cookie dough). Put the mixture in a small cake tin (diameter of 18-20 centimeters). Bake the cake for around 55 minutes and until a cocktail pick comes out clean.

*Delicious Moist Apple Cake is an adaptation of the “One bowl apple cake”
